Das Roll's Regiment (auch de Roll's oder von Roll's Regiment) war ein Regiment der britischen Armee, das aus Schweizern, französischen und deutschen Soldaten bestand und 1794 aufgestellt wurde. Der Oberst des Regiments war Louis de Roll, ein ehemaliger Offizier der vorrevolutionären französischen Schweizergarde. Der Verband wurde in der napoleonischen Ära von den Briten unter anderem auf der Iberischen Halbinsel eingesetzt.
Das Gemälde von Edmund von Tugginer (Zürcher-Familie) ist das einzige bekannte Portrait eines Offiziers des de Roll Regiments. Armeelisten zeigen Edmund Tugginer als Fähnrich in de Rolls Regiment ab 9.11.1809 und als Leutnant ab 26.2.1811. Die ungewöhnlichen Epauletten weisen ihn als Offizier der Grenadierkompanie aus. Er wurde auf halben Sold gesetzt, als das Regiment 1816 aufgelöst wurde. Es gab noch zwei weitere Offiziere in diesem Regiment mit dem Namen Tugginer, Joseph (Leutnant im Jahr 1806, also evtl. ein älterer Bruder) und einen, dessen Name nur als "E Tugginer" aufgeführt ist (evtl. ein jüngerer Bruder).

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
