Öl auf Leinwand. Feine Darstellung der Heiligen Familie mit Engel vor dunklem Hintergrund. In der Bildmitte erhebt sich die in einem weiten Mantel gehüllte Maria, das beinahe schwebende Christuskind im Schoß haltend. Dieses schwingt mit weißem Stofftuch um sich und blickt gen Betrachter. Links bietet ein Engel dem Kind einen Früchtekorb an, rechts schließt der leicht abseits stehende Josef die Diagonale ab. Feines Craquelé. Restauriert, ein paar kleine Reparaturen in der Leinwand. Im schmalen Rahmen aus ebonisiertem Holz mit vergoldeter Flammleiste. Bildmaße 103 x 85, Maße gerahmt 119 x 101 cm.

Oil on canvas. Fine portrayal of the Holy Family with an angel, against a dark background. In the centre of the painting, the Virgin Mary rises up, wrapped in a wide cloak, holding the Infant Jesus, who almost appears to be floating, on her lap. Waving a piece of white cloth, the Infant Jesus regards the beholder. On the left, an angel offers the infant a basket of fruit while, on the right, Joseph stands slightly aside, completing the diagonal. Fine craquelure. Restored, a few small repairs to the canvas. In a narrow frame of ebonised wood with gilt ripple moulding. Size of the picture 103 x 85 cm, framed 119 x 101 cm.
