Eichenholz, plastisch geschnitzt, farbig gefasst. Auf einem rechteckigen Sockel, mit Garn und Kupferbeschlag verziert. Die Rückseite des Sockels abgeflacht. Vollplastische Darstellung des Heiligen zu Pferde. Er trägt einen vergoldeten Mantel. In seiner Linken hält er ein Schwert, mit dem er seinen Mantel teilt. Diesen schenkte er der Legende nach Christus, der ihm in Form eines frierenden Bettlers erschien, um ihn zu prüfen. Sockel bezeichnet "S. MARTINUS". Fassungsverluste Hand geklebt. Maße 44 x 32 x 16 cm.

Oakwood, carved in relief and painted in colour. On a rectangular base decorated with yarn and copper mount. The reverse of the base flattened. Three-dimensional depiction of the horse-mounted saint wearing a gilt cloak. In his left he holds a sword with which he divides his cloak. The legend says that he gave it to Christ who appeared before him in the person of a freezing beggar to put him to the test. Base inscribed "S. MARTINUS". Flaws in the paint, one hand glued. Dimensions 44 x 32 x 16 cm.
