Leichte, schwarz lackierte (leicht eingesunken, krakeliert) Lederglocke mit eckigem Vorderschirm, silbernen Beschlägen (verputzt), grün bzw. rot gefütterten Schirmen (vs. gelöst) und feinem braunen Schweißleder (Fehlstellen, Seidenrips fehlt). Das Emblem mit dem aufgelegten, emaillierten Wappenmedaillon der bayerischen Generale. Die Krone darüber sowie die eines der Löwen im Zuge der Revolution entfernt (denobilitiert). Das Kreuzblatt mit Sternschrauben, Perlstabfries und abnehmbarer kannelierter Spitze. Leicht gewölbte Schuppenketten an Steckrosetten mit Offizierskokarden. Interessanter Helm aus der Übergangszeit der Königlichen Alten Armee zur Reichswehr der Republik. Größe ca. 56.

Light-weight, black lacquered leather skull (slightly indented, craquelures) with angular front visor, silver fittings (over-polished). The visors lined in green and red respectively (detached at the front) and fine brown leather liner (losses to the fabric, ribbed silk missing). The emblem with the appliquéd, enamelled medallion bearing the coat of arms of the Bavarian generals. The crown above and that of one of the lions removed during the revolution (denobilised). Cruciform base with star-shaped screws, a bead and reel frieze and removable, fluted spike. Slightly convex scaled chinstraps on rosettes with officer's cockades. Interesting helmet dating from the transition period of the old Royal Army to the Reichswehr of the Republic. Size approximately 56.
