Eigentumsstück. Schön erhaltene, schwarz lackierte Lederglocke mit versilberten Neusilberbeschlägen (teils berieben). Nackenschiene mit zwei Kugelnieten. Verschraubtes Emblem mit hessischem Löwen zwischen Lorbeer- und Eichenlaubkranz. Kreuzblatt mit Paradetrichter in hessischer Form mit schwarzem Rosshaarbusch. Gewölbte, lederunterlegte Schuppenketten an geometrischen Rosetten mit silbernen Rändelschrauben, darunter Reichs- und Landeskokarde aus Blech. Breites, schwarzes Schweißleder, ohne Seidenfutter, in der Glocke die alte Größenangabe "55", der Vorderschirm grün und der Nackenschirm rot unterfüttert. Trage- und Altersspuren.

A privately purchased item. The black lacquered leather skull in beautiful condition with silver-plated, nickel silver fittings (partially abraded). A bar at the nape with two spherical rivets. Screw-mounted emblem with the Hessian lion between wreaths of laurel and oak. Cruciform base with a parade socket in Hessian form holding a black horsehair plume. Convex chinscales with leather underlay on geometric rosettes with silver knurled screws, below which the Reich and state cockades in metal. Broad, black leather sweatband without a silk lining. The old size "55" inside the skull. The front visor lined in green and the rear visor with red underlay. Signs of age and wear.
