Lot 741 | Helm für Offiziere im Leib-Kürassier-Regiment "Großer Kurfürst" (Schlesisches) Nr. 1, um 1910
Vernickelte Eisenglocke (kleine Dellen) mit gegratetem Vorderschirm, separat angenieteter, einteilig geprägter Nackenschirm (hinten verzogen). Geprägtes Adleremblem aus vergoldetem Messing mit Bandeau "Pro Gloria et Patria". Kreuzblatt mit eingesteckter gekehlter Spitze. Lederunterfütterte Schuppenketten (unvollständig) und beide Kokarden in der typischen Form des Regiments. Schön erhaltenes ockerfarbenes Seidenripsfutter, ockerfarbenes Lederschweißband, Vorderschirm mit grünlichem und Hinterschirm mit ockerfarbenem Leder unterfüttert. Dazu der passende originale feldgraue Überzug, innen mit rotem Band. Im hohen, gepolsterten Helmkoffer mit Resten der Beriemung, der Deckel innen mit Tintenstempel des Hoflieferanten Hellmann in Breslau. Teilweise beschädigt, Altersspuren.
Sehr seltener, ranghoher Helm eines preußischen Eliteregiments.

Nickel-plated iron skull (slightly dented) with ridged front visor, the neck guard embossed in one piece and riveted separately (warped at the back). Embossed eagle emblem in gilt brass, the banner reading "Pro Gloria et Patria". Cruciform base with inserted, grooved point. The chinscales with leather underlay (incomplete) and both cockades in the typical style of the regiment. In fine condition, ochre-coloured silk rep lining, ochre-coloured leather sweatband, the front visor with greenish underlay and the rear visor lined in ochre-coloured leather. Includes the matching original field-grey cover with a red ribbon on the inside. In the high, padded helmet case with remnants of the straps, the ink stamp of court purveyor Hellmann of Wrocław on the inside of the lid. Damaged in places, signs of age.
Extremely rare, high-ranking helmet of an elite Prussian regiment.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
