Stahlglocke mit Messingeinfassungen (ein seitlicher Niet fehlt) und -beschlägen sowie gegratetem Vorderschirm und Grat am Hinterhaupt. Stirnseitig verschraubt der Linienadler mit aufgelegtem Reservekreuz. Oben am Scheitel eine Messingbasis mit vier Kugelkopfschrauben und Bügelmuttern sowie abnehmbarer Stahlspitze. Gewölbte, lederunterlegte Schuppenketten an versplinteten geometrischen Rosetten, seitlich die große Landeskokarde aus lackiertem Eisenblech. Lederlaschenfutter fehlt. Oberfläche stellenweise narbig, hinten ein kleiner Riss am Schirmansatz der Glocke, einige Befestigungselemente erneuert. Teilweise leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Äußerst seltener früher Kürassierhelm.

Steel skull with brass trim (one rivet is missing on the side) and mountings, ridged front visor. The outline of an eagle with appliquéd reserve cross screw-mounted at the front. A brass base at the crown with four ball-head screws and clamp nuts, removable steel spike. Convex chinscales with leather underlay on geometric rosettes, fixed with pins. The large state cockade in lacquered sheet iron at the side. The leather liner has been lost. The surface pitted in places, a small crack between the visor and skull, several mounting components renewed. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Extremely rare, early cuirassier's helmet.
