Hohe, schwarz lackierte Lederglocke, komplett mit allen Beschlägen aus Messing. Angenähter Nackenschirm, Vorderschirm nicht angenäht, sondern durch zwei seitliche Rundkopfniete gehalten. Stirnseitig mit Bügelmuttern verschraubt der große, schleswig-holsteinische Doppeladler als Wappen der mit Preußen verbündeten schleswig-holsteinischen Armee, konvexe Schuppenketten mit Lederfutter (kleine unauffällige Reparatur) an weißen geometrischen Rosetten (rechts zwei kleine Fehlstellen) und Rändelschrauben, rechts die Landeskokarde aus lackiertem Leder. Hohe, glatte Spitze (nicht abnehmbar) an Kreuzblatt mit vier weißen Rundkopfschrauben und Bügelmuttern. Innen ein breites dunkelbraunes Schweißleder in schöner Erhaltung, die Schirme mit rotem Leder unterfüttert. Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Äußerst rarer früher Helm, insgesamt gut erhalten.

High, black lacquered leather skull, complete with all brass fittings. The neck guard sewn on, the front visor not stitched but attached by two round-head rivets on the side. The large Schleswig-Holstein double-headed eagle screw-mounted on the front with clamp nuts as the emblem for the Schleswig-Holstein army that was allied with Prussia. Convex chinscales with leather underlay (a small, inconspicuous repair) on white, geometric rosettes (two minor defects on the right) and knurled screws. State cockades in lacquered metal on the right. The tall, smooth spike (not removable) on a cruciform base with four white round-head screws and clamp nuts. Inside, the broad, dark brown leather sweatband in fine condition, visors with red leather underlay. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Exceptionally rare, early helmet. Overall in good condition.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
