Helm M 1856 mit Tombakglocke, vergoldetem, reliefiertem Kamm und roter Rosshaarraupe. Neusilbernes Emblem mit aufgelegter, flammender Granate. Schuppenketten aus lederunterlegten Drahtketten an Rosetten mit aufgelegtem Stern. Vorder- und Hinterschirm mit Leder gefüttert, braunes Lederlaschenfutter (berieben). Dazu der eiserne Kürass, mit Tombak belegt, ohne Futter. Am Bruststück ein vergoldetes Adleremblem auf eisernem Strahlenkranz. Rücken mit lederunterlegten Kettenbändern. Am unteren Rand des Bruststückes eine undeutliche Herstellerbezeichnung mit Jahreszahl "1861", am Rücken unten eine ähnliche Ätzung mit lesbarer Nummer "101865". Buntmetall mit Patina, kleine Dellen, berieben, Eisenteile außen narbig, innen rostig. Seltenes Ensemble des berühmten Regiments der Garde Impériale, vgl. The M 1856 helmet with a tombac skull, a gilt, raised comb and a red horsehair crest. Nickel-silver emblem with an appliquéd, flaming grenade. The chinscales of wire chains with leather underlay on rosettes with an appliquéd star. The front and rear visor lined in leather, brown liner with leather flaps (scuffed). Comes with the iron cuirass, covered in tombac, unlined. The breastplate with a gilt eagle emblem on an iron sun burst. The backplate with chain bands on a leather backing. An illegible manufacturer's mark and the year "1861" on the lower edge of the breastplate, a similar etching with the legible number "101865" on the base at the back. In non-ferrous metal with a patina, small indentations, abraded, the iron parts pitted on the outside, rusted on the inside. A rare ensemble worn by the celebrated regiment of the Garde Impériale, cf. Louis Delpérier, La Garde Impériale de Napoleon III., Nantes, 2000, pp. 123, 124.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
