Lot 3375 | Helm M 1867 für Mannschaften des II. Sächsischen Reiter-Regiments
Kammerstück. Schwarz lackierter Lederkorpus mit Messingbeschlägen. Stirnseitig ein durch zwei Lederkeile fixierter, achtstrahliger Stern aus geprägtem Messing mit aufgelegtem sächsischen Wappen aus Neusilber, die Krone alt erneuert aus Buntmetall. Seitlich halbrunde Hiebspangen, messinggefasster Kamm mit originaler schwarzer Wollraupe. Die gewölbten, lederunterlegten Schuppenketten an Schlitzschrauben (Lederunterlage unauffällig mit Klebeband verstärkt). Am Nackenschirm ein Langloch zum Aufhängen des Helmes, daneben Kammerstempel "II.R.R. M1875", die Nackenschirmschiene mit Hersteller "G. H. Osang". Partiell leicht beschädigt, Trage- und Altersspuren.
Das Karabinier-Regiment (2. Schweres Regiment) war in Borna bei Leipzig stationiert.

Depot piece. Black lacquered leather skull with brass fittings. Eight-pointed star of embossed brass mounted with a Saxon shield in nickel silver, attached to the obverse with two leather wedges, the crown an old replacement of non-ferrous metal. Semi-circular brass framework on either side, brass trimmed crest with original black wool chenille. The domed, leather-lined chinscales on slotted screws (leather lining inconspicuously reinforced with adhesive tape). The neck guard with an oblong hole for hanging, next to it the depot stamp "II.R.R. M1875", the edge of the neck guard stamped with the maker's name "G. H. Osang". Partially slightly damaged, signs of wear and age.
The Karabinier Regiment (2nd Heavy Regiment) was stationed in Borna near Leipzig.
