Helmkamm hergestellt aus zwei Bronzeblechen, die durch Umbörtelung des einen Blechs um den Rand des anderen und zusätzliche Vernietung verbunden sind. In der Mitte eine konische Verdickung, die von der Unterkante bis zur Spitze des Helmkamms verläuft. Außen auf beiden Seiten Einrahmung durch zwei Bahnen aus plastisch herausgetriebenen Rippen, die äußere mit Punkten, die innere mit Querstrichen gefüllt. Im Innern je sechs Kreisaugen. Der Zwischenraum zwischen den beiden Blechen unten modern zur Stabilisierung durch Füllmasse stabilisiert. Länge 34 cm. Höhe 26,5 cm.
Provenienz: Rheinischer Privatbesitz, aus den Lagerbeständen eines ehemaligen Kunsthändlers, erworben in den 1980er Jahren im Kunsthandel.
