Professor Herbert Zeitner, Berlin. Mehrteilig in Silber gefertigt, teils vergoldet. Große handgehämmerte Silberschale auf rundem Fuß mit den für Zeitner typischen sehr breiten Eichenlaubgravuren. Im Zentrum der Schale hoher, konischer Silberschaft mit vergoldetem Eichenblattfries, bekrönt durch einen plastischen St.-Hubertus-Hirschkopf mit vergoldetem Strahlenkranz und einem Hakenkreuz im Zentrum. Die Haltestange im Inneren vorhanden, die Gegenmutter fehlt. Verformt, Schale und Fuß mit einigen Reparaturen. Mehrfache Juwelierspunzen "Zeitner Berlin" bzw. "Z". Gesamthöhe 61 cm, Gewicht 3.629 g.
Prof. Herbert Zeitner war Görings bevorzugter Juwelier. Zahlreiche Schmuckstücke für den persönlichen Gebrauch des Reichsmarschalls, aber auch zahlreiche Juweliersarbeiten, die Göring verschenkte, stammten aus der Werkstatt Zeitners. Dazu die Ausgabe Nr. 6 der "Bildwoche" vom 4. Februar 1999 mit dem 3. Teil der Artikelserie "Die Frauen der Nazis", dort auf den Seiten 38/39 ein Foto von Hermann und Emmy Göring im Salon in Carinhall, im Hintergrund dieser Tafelaufsatz.

Professor Herbert Zeitner, Berlin. Multiple sections fashioned in silver, gilt in places. A large hand-fashioned silver bowl with cylindrical foot and very wide oak leaf engraving, typical for Zeitner. In the centre a high, conical silver column with a frieze of gilt oak leaves, crowned by a modelled St. Hubertus Stag's head surmounted by a gilt radiate star and a central swastika. Interior retaining bar is present, lock nut missing. Deformed, the bowl and foot with a few repairs. Multiple jeweller's punches "Zeitner Berlin" and "Z". Total height 61 cm, weight 3,629 g.
Professor Herbert Zeitner was Göring's preferred jeweller. Numerous luxury pieces for the personal use of the Reich Marshal as well as many pieces bestowed as gifts originated in Zeitner's workshop. Included is edition no. 6 of "Bildwoche" from 4 February, 1999 with the third part of a series of articles "Die Frauen der Nazis" (tr: Wives of the Nazis), wherein on pp. 38-39 is a photo of Hermann and Emmy Göring in a salon at Carinhall with this centrepiece in the background.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
