Querformatige Aufnahme einer Parade anlässlich des Einmarsches in Österreich im März 1938. Hermann Göring mit Gefolge schreitet eine Ehrenformation in Uniform ab, am Hals den Pour le Mérite tragend, in der rechten Hand seinen Stab als Generalfeldmarschall haltend. Am rechten Unterrand eigenhändig in dicker blauer Tinte signiert "Göring". Fotomaße 16,2 x 22,8 cm. Auf Passepartout, unter Glas, in fein guillochiertem Silberrahmen mit Feingehaltspunze "800". Polierte Holzrückseite mit Stellstütze. Rahmenmaße 19,6 x 25,6 x 1 cm.
Nur rund fünf Wochen vor dem Einmarsch in Österreich am 12. März wurde Hermann Göring Anfang Februar zum Generalfeldmarschall befördert.
