"Fishermen head XI". Original title
Woodcut/Japan Paper, 1911. Signed & dat.: CR. Krüger, H 127, Fechter H 83. The wood cut belongs to a series of 11 leaves with the fishermen's heads, which appeared as a folder, but the numbering as closed-ended series. Each woodcut there are only a few hand prints, in an edition of 20 prints on Japanese paper for the gallery owners and publishers Gurlitt, Berlin. Luck stone resigned in 1912 from the artist group "Brücke", which it issued in April at the kunstsalon Fritz Gurlitt in Berlin and in the summer at the legendary Sonderbund exhibition in Cologne, had been involved. Illustration 21.5 x 19.5 cm. Frame.
