Gartenstillleben mit Malven
In seiner hoch gestreckten, ausschnitthaften Komposition sowie in seinem Stil repräsentatives, impressionistisches Stillleben der Künstlerin. Nach ihrer künstlerischen Ausbildung 1869-1872 in der Karlsruher Kunstschule Ferdinand Kellers eröffnete sie ihr eigenes Atelier. Wohl 1877 debütierte die noch in Karlsruhe lebende Malerin, beachtenswerterweise mit zwei Stillleben in der Berliner Akademie-Ausstellung; 1879 entsandte sie von Rom aus, wo sie offenbar auch danach öfters weilte, drei Stillleben für die Akademie-Ausstellung. Seit 1886 war sie vornehmlich in Berlin ansässig, wo sie über die Kronprinzessin und spätere Kaiserin Victoria, Zugang zum Hof hatte. 1878-1898 war sie Mitglied im Verein der Berliner Künstlerinnen, an dessen Ausstellungen sie teilnahm. Öl/Malkarton. Am Unterrand sign.; Verso bez. u. undeutl. betitelt "(...) Malven" sowie Angabe "Schloß (.../) b/ Hermann Sudermann 150 M". 70,5 cm x 44,5 cm. Rahmen.
Die Namensangabe auf der Rückseite bezieht sich auf den mit Hermione von Preuschen befreundeten, bekannten Schriftsteller und Bühnenautor Hermann Sudermann (1857 - 1928), für den das Stillleben wahrscheinlich bestimmt war.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
