Weißes, glasiertes Porzellan, der Goldrand berieben. Die Fahne jeweils mit gut erhaltenem gekrönten Monogramm "N" in Gold mit Rothöhung. Im Boden jeweils in blauer Unterglasur die runde KPM-Marke mit Adler und Szepter, darüber sowie in roter Aufglasur die Reichsapfelmarke mit "KPM" 1849 - 1870. Durchmesser je 24 cm.
Der im oberschlesischen Carlsruhe (Pokój) geborene Herzog trat zunächst der österreichischen Kriegsmarine, später der Armee bei, nahm als Major 1864 am Deutsch-Dänischen Krieg und 1866 am Krieg gegen Preußen teil, wurde 1877 Generalmajor und 1882 Feldmarschallleutnant. Seit 1855 war er Mitglied der Württembergischen Kammer der Standesherren.
