Die Taschenuhr von Walter Banholzer, eine Omega-Herren-Taschenuhr Chronograph. Die vom Feuer stark in Mitleidenschaft gezogene Uhr ist punziert mit Mondsichel, Krone, Firmenmarke, Feingehalt "0,900" und Modellnummer "3257844". Das Emaillezifferblatt (beschädigt) mit römischen Ziffern, die kleine Sekunde steht bei der "6". Mit Handaufzug und Ankerhemmung, Durchmesser ca. 5,5 cm. Fein punzierter Deckel mit graviertem Wappen "WB" für Walter Banholzer. Mit der passenden Schachtel von Hugo Kopp, Uhren & Goldwaren, Cannstatterstrasse 27, Untertürkheim. Dazu einige Nachdruck-Fotos von Banholzer auf dem Luftschiff und privat.
Ein mit der Luftschifffahrt verbundenes, bedeutendes geschichtliches Zeitdokument einer großen Tragödie. Von allergrößter Seltenheit.

The watch belonging to Walter Banholzer, an Omega gentlemen's Chronograph pocket watch. The watch has been partially destroyed by the fire, hallmarked with a crescent moon, crown, company mark, mark of fineness "0,900" and model number "3257844". The enamel dial (damaged) with Roman numerals, small seconds hand on the "6". With manual winding and lever escapement, diameter approx. 5.5 cm. Finely stippled cover with engraved coat of arms, "WB" for Walter Banholzer. Includes the matching case by Hugo Kopp, supplier of watches & gold articles, Cannstatterstrasse 27, Untertürkheim. Also, several reproduction photographs of Banholzer on the airship and off duty.
By virtue of its association with airship travel, a historically significant testament to a great tragedy. Of the utmost rarity.
