from the possession of the Empress Auguste Viktoria of Prussia, three lids gold watch in 18 ct. Gold. Weight 77,99 g. front and rear-side transluzid Royal enameled blue or black. On the pages of finely engraved rose bouquet and a star rosette, the day and the night, symbolizing, set with diamond roses of approx 10 ct., on the inside of the lid ligiertes monogram "VA" with the Imperial crown. Anchor plant, manufactured by the Swiss watch manufacturer Rossel-Bautte & Cie, Geneva, case no. 80202, factory no. 81202.Since the clock of the Imperial crown over the monogram, was most likely on the occasion of the accession to the throne in 1888.Provenance: From the possession of the Empress Auguste Viktoria of Prussia (1858 - 1921), wife of the crown Prince, and since 1888, the ruling Emperor Wilhelm II. of Prussia (1859 - 1941); afterwards in the collection of king Faruq I (1920 - 1965), 1936 until 1952, and the ruler of Egypt; since 1954 in the collection of M. Marouf, Düsseldorf; since CA. 1970-1975 in South German private collection.An important golden pocket clock in 18 k from the German Empress Auguste Viktoria by Rossel-Bautte & Cie, Geneva.
