Eins von wenigen, aufwendig und luxuriös ausgestatteten Exemplaren, die der Oberbürgermeister der Stadt Stuttgart Dr. Arnulf Klett (1905 - 1974) an eine kleine, ausgewählte Gruppe der Gastgeber und Gäste des Staatsbesuchs überreichte, in diesem Fall an Kurt Georg Kiesinger (1904 - 1988), 1958-1966 Ministerpräsident von Baden-Württemberg und später 1966-1969 Bundeskanzler der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Das Album auf eigens gedruckten Seiten enthält zahlreiche montierte Original-Schwarzweißfotografien des Staatsbesuchs Königin Elisabeth II.; Im Vorsatz von Dr. Klett eigenhändig sign.; Unpaginiert. Heller Ledereinband mit den zwei goldgeprägten Wappen der Königin und des Landes Baden-Württemberg. Ca. 31 cm x 41 cm.
Der Besuch Elisabeth II. war die erste Visite eines britischen Monarchen in Deutschland seit 1909. Es wurde eine Mammuttour: Elf Tage lang reiste die Königin, begleitet von ihrem Mann Prince Philip, durch die Bundesrepublik. Vom 18. bis zum 28. Mai 1965 besuchte Elizabeth II. die deutsche Hauptstadt in Bonn, München und weitere Städte, insgesamt 20 Stationen. Als Abschluss besuchte sie West-Berlin.

This copy was presented to Kurt Georg Kiesinger (1904 - 1988), Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg from 1958-1966 and later Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany (1966 - 1969).

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
