Ebonisiertes Holz, Wurzelholz, Mahagoni u.a. Reste von Kolorierung. Reiche Schnitzerei und Ziervergoldung, am Rand umlaufende Messingmontierung. Das zentrale Wappen mit Messing- und Zinn-Intarsien, flankiert von den Daten 1858 und 1883. Unter der Platte Inventar-Etiketten "Privateigenthum Sr. D. des Fürsten Heinrich XIV Reuß i.I." mit Nr. 1337 u.a. Auf vier Messingrollen. Rest., Altersschäden.

Prinzessin Agnes von Württemberg (1835-1886) war Tochter des Herzogs Eugen von Württemberg und der Prinzessin Helene zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg. Sie heiratete am 6.2.1858 auf dem elterlichen Schloß Carlsruhe den Fürsten Heinrich XIV von Reuß jüngere Linie. Das Paar hatte zwei Kinder. Als Fürstengattin gründete sie zahlreiche Stiftungen und Institute, unter dem Pseudonym Angelica Hohenstein war sie zudem schriftstellerisch tätig. Heinrich XIV Fürst Reuß jüngerer Linie (1832-1913) war Reichsfürst aus dem Hause Reuß, seit 1867 war Heinrich Fürst des Fürstentums Reuß jüngerer Linie, seit 1902 auch Regent der älteren Linie. Die Datierung aus dem Jahr 1883 deutet auf ein Geschenk zur goldenen Hochzeit des Paares Reuß - Württemberg hin, die 1858 geheiratet hatten.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
