Nikolaus und Simeon den Gottesträger, und die Überführung seiner Reliquien nach Bari.

The scenes are showing the birth of St. Nicholas, his baptism, the saving of the three virgins, his ordination as bishop, the saving of three innocent people condemned to death, the apparition in the dream of Emperor Constantine, the recue of seamen, the death of the saints, the liberation of a Christian slave from the hand of the Saracens and handover to his parents, the rescue of Demetrios from the sea, the rare motif of the liberation of the Byzantine scholar Peter from Arab captivity by St. Nicholas and St. Simeon the God-Receiver, and the transfer of his relics to Bari.
