Gold, white 750 stamped. Centrally occupied with an untreated sapphire of approx. 7,46 ct. in Cushioncut, flanked by 2 diamonds in a fantasy cut of CA. 0,73 ct. (wesselton(H)/si). Weight approx. 5,48 g. Enclosed Gübelin Expertise. Already Marco Polo knew to report that the blue sapphires from Sri Lanka, the so-called "Ceylon sapphires" are unique in their color, their brilliance and their clarity. Legendary jewels and the unique collection in the Romanov. In 1862, Tsar Alexander II of Russia acquired for tsarina Maria Alexandrovna at the world exhibition in London, one of the most beautiful Ceylon sapphires of over 260 ct. A ring set with one natural not heated royal blue sapphire, approx. 7,46 ct. and 2 diamonds approx. 0,73 ct. in 18 k white gold. Certificate included.
