Eichenholz mit schöner Alterspatina. Kräftiger Sockel mit umlaufendem Maßwerkfries. Die Vorderseite und die Seitenpanele mit erhaben geschnitztem Band- und Rankendekor. Der scharniergelagerte Deckel mit Darstellung der Wappen des Hochzeitspaares zwischen feinen Dornblattranken. Umlaufend kräftige Rahmung. Innenliegende originale Scharnierbänder, originales Schloss mit späterem Hohldornschlüssel. Stellenweise bestoßen mit kleinen Fehlstellen, der Deckel auf der Rückseite mit leichtem Wurmfraß. Maße 19 x 27 x 19 cm.

Oak with a beautiful age patina. On a sturdy base with continuous friezes of tracery. The front and side panels with raised, carved scrolling bands and decorative tendrils. The hinged lid with a depiction of the bride and groom's coats of arms amidst fine vine and ivy tendrils. A prominent border around the edge. The original hinge bands on the inside, the original lock with a pipe key of later date. Some bumps and dents, minor defects, slight worm damage on the back of the lid. Dimensions 19 x 27 x 19 cm.
