Bronze, schwarz patiniert und mit Kaltfarben bunt bemalt. Eine Hand und das Gesicht aus Elfenbein. Auf einem in Form eines Teppichs gestalteten Sockel. Vollplastisch gearbeiteter Hofnarr, der auf einem gepolsterten Sessel sitzt und sich einem Papagei, der auf seinem Finger sitzt, zuwendet. Sessel mit reliefierten Ornamenten verziert. Am Sockel bezeichnet und datiert "F.ROSSE 88". Höhe 28,5 cm.
Franz Rosse studierte an der Staatlichen Zeichenakademie in Hanau unter Max Wiese und an der Berliner Akademie unter Fritz Schape. Er schuf mehrere monumentale Werke wie das Kaiser-Wilhelm-Denkmal in Rathenow. Gutachten vorhanden.
