Two seated, introverted monks with shaved heads. Richly robed. Polychromely painted. Intact with signs of age. Height 67 cm.
Very decorative! Probably Macau. Of great interest in art history, as the influence of European woodcarving and design is evident here.

Zwei sitzende, in sich versunkene Mönche mit kahlgeschorenen Häuptern. Reich gewandet. Polychrom gefasst. Intakt mit Altersspuren. Höhe 67 cm.
Sehr dekorativ! Wohl Macao. Kunstgeschichtlich von hohem Interesse, da hier der Einfluss europäischer Holzschnitzkunst und Gestaltung zutage tritt.
