Objekt-Skulptur aus Karton-Rollen und teilw. gerissenem Leder auf Metallsockel. Wvz. 956. Großformatige Arbeit des Grenzgängers zwischen den Kunstgattungen. Einen Schwerpunkt seines Oeuvres bilden zwei- und dreidimensionale Lederobjekte, wobei er das häufig zweitverwendete Leder oft mit Holz, Metall, Textilien und anderen Materialien kombinierte. Kalinowski studierte 1945 - 1948 zunächst an der Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf und von 1950 - 1952 in Paris an der Académie de la Grande Chaumière im "Atelier d’art abstrait" von Jean Dewasne. Abstraktion und Materialität prägten seitdem sein Oeuvre. Ab Mitte der 1950er Jahre entstanden erste abstrakte Collagen, Materialbilder und mit Leder bespannte Objektkästen. Solche erstmals 1958 in der Avantgarde-Galerie von Daniel Cordier in Paris gezeigten Arbeiten stießen allerdings auf ebenso wenig Verständnis wie einige Jahre später Arman und die Gruppe des Nouveau Réalisme. 1968 - 1989 lehrte Kalinowski an der Akademie in Karlsruhe, ab 1972 als Professor; 1983 arbeitete er als Ehrengast an der Deutschen Akademie Rom Villa Massimo. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
