Lot 7897 | Husqvarna m/1907, Wehrmachtsabnahme
Estimate value
€ 250

Husqvarna m/1907, Wehrmacht acceptance marks
Cal. 9mmBrowningLg, SN. 34942, bright bore. Seven shots. Almost invisible German proof marks 1983. Two-line company markings on the left-hand side. The rear of the frame marked Crown above inspectors marks "T.T. H.K." (=Thor Thorsson and Helge Koltoff). On the right-hand side importer's mark "Orion". Infantry unit marks "I 9 No 839". On the left -handside above the trigger guard Wehrmacht mark "WaA623", behind the safety Eagle above Swastika in circle. The barrel marked "9mm BR LG". The original finish almost 100%, with minimal holster wear at the muzzle. The front sight shortened, with a minor grinding mark. Black plastic with imperial crown, very good. Lanyard loop. The magazine marked 17703.
There is no mention in the literature that such guns were ever brought to Steyr for refurbishment and subsequent acceptance marking. The only visible modifications are the shortened front sight and the markings. Probably a fake.
