Holztafel mit zwei Rückseiten-Sponki (ergänzt). Kowtscheg, Tempera auf Kreidegrund. Nach dem Vorbild einer Ikone von Nikifor Istomin Savin aus dem 17. Jhdt. Dargestellt ist eine Legende, die besagt, dass Theodors Mutter von einem Schlangenwesen (Teufel) umworben und gekrönt wird. Im Mittelfeld schlägt Theodor dem Wesen den Kopf ab und führt in der rechten unteren Ecke seine Mutter den Weg zurück. Randbereich mit kleinen Fehlstellen. Maße 31 x 26,5 cm.
