In the Style of Huang Shanshou (1855-1919) - China, late Qing dynasty, dating 1896 - Magpies Amidst Spring Flowers. Ink and colors on paper, mounted as hanging scroll. Signature by the artist: “In the first decade of the jiaping (12.) month of the bingshen year (1896), Huang Shanshou.” Two seals of the artist: „Shanshou”, “Shanshou”. - From a European private collection, acquired prior to 1990Huang Shanshou was a high official from Wujin in Jiangsu province. He was also a noted calligrapher and painter. He excelled in figure painting, blue and green landscapes and flowers and birds in meticulous style.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
