De forme traditionnelle avec proue et manche relevés, le bol orné d'un médaillon central en repoussé représentant l'aigle bicéphale impérial, les côtés ciselés de l'inscription "Par la Grâce de Dieu, nous, Impératrice Elisabeth I, Autocrate de toutes les Russies, avons présenté ce kovsh à l'Ataman Saveliy Minaev du Voisko de Volzhkoy à la Legkaya Stanitsa pour ses loyaux services à St Petersbourg, le 1 juin 1776" dans des cartouches feuillagés, le manche ouvragé surmonté d'une couronne impériale centré du monogramme de l'Impératrice Elisabeth Ière, l'avant gravé du portrait de l'Impératrice dans un cartouche rocaille, poinçon sur le manche
