Silber, unter dem Rand des Beckens der Feingehaltsstempel „800“ sowie Halbmond/Krone und eine Herstellerpunze „JLS“ für Jean L. Schlingloff, Hanau. Vier mit großem Aufwand gestaltete Delphine als Standfüße. Darüber ein großes Becken, vom Zentrum ausgehend mit strahlenförmigen Buckelsegmenten gegliedert. Am Rand, in den Blüten des vollplastischen Rankenwerks, acht eingelassene Almandin-Cabochons. Auf der von Akanthus verzierten Mitte des Beckens ein schlanker Delphin, auf dessen Schwanzflosse ein reich und fein verziertes, dreimastiges Phantasieschiff ruht. Es besitzt figürlich reliefierte ovale Felder am Rumpf, gravierte Segel sowie mehrere Matrosen an Deck, in den Wanten und in den Mastkörben. Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Höhe 80 cm, Gewicht 7,9 kg.

An imposing German table centrepiece with almandine cabochons, circa 1900
Silver, the mark of fineness "800" stamped under the rim of the basin, along with the crescent/crown and a manufacturer's mark "JLS" for Jean L. Schlingloff, Hanau. The four feet in the shape of elaborately wrought dolphins. These supporting a large basin, composed of boss segments arranged in a radial pattern, starting in the centre. Eight almandine cabochons inset in the blossoms of the fully sculptured tendrils around the edge. A slender dolphin at the centre of the basin, this embellished with acanthus leaves, its tail fin holding aloft a fanciful three-mast vessel, lavishly and delicately ornate. The ship with figurative, oval fields in relief on the hull, engraved sails and several sailors on the deck, in the rigging and the crow's nests. Signs of age and handling. Height 80 cm, weight 7.9 kg.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
