ITALY scenery picture book "La Cenerentola", 1942, 'Libroteatro Hoepli' with illustrations by Mario Zampini and backdrops by Raimondo Centurione, 2nd edition 1942, rare and beautiful constellation book, composed of six colored perspective backdrops mounted on firm cardboard mats with scenic depictions from the fairy tale Cinderella. Italian Edition that was published parallel to the German by Wilhelm Krenn in Leipzig. The attractively illustrated children's book can be folded out into a three-dimensional star and fixed with a push button on the two book covers. With the help of a wooden board and a vertical iron rod, the constellation book should be attached and thus made rotatable. The extraordinary demonstration effect in the style of a theatrical performance could then be produced by directing a lampshade onto the pictures from above. The diameter of the opened book is about 50 cm. The cover illustration shows a raised theater curtain. (Without the corresponding small text booklet with the instructions for use), push-button clasp and the cover with signs of wear, especially on the corners.
