Ivan Sagito wurde 1957 in Malang geboren und studierte Kunst an der Sekolah Seni Rupa Indonesia und anschließend am Institut Seni Rupa in Yogyakarta von 1979 bis 1985. Auf der 7. und 8. Jakarta-Biennale für junge Künstler wurde er 1987 und 1989 mit dem Preis für das beste Werk ausgezeichnet. Seine erste Einzelausstellung fand 1988 in der Duta Fine Art Gallery in Jakarta statt, wo das Werk dieses Loses erworben wurde. Sagito ist als mysteriöser Künstler bekannt und verwendet realistische Maltechniken, um surrealistische Bilder zu schaffen, die oft in den metaphysischen Vorstellungen des javanischen Mystizismus wurzeln. In diesem Werk erscheinen die Hauptfiguren völlig unlogisch - als menschliche Körper und gleichzeitig als Marionetten. Teile der Körper werden durch Wayang-Puppen oder Masken ersetzt. Die Figuren in dem Hintergrund des wunderschönen blauen Himmels werden wiederholt und in wechselnden Posen dargestellt. All dies spiegelt den Titel des Werks wider, der "das Selbst in der Puppenspiegelung" bedeutet.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
