The subject and the style characteristic of the artist's paintings is one of the few paintings which can be of the little-known Oeuvre of the artist associated with it. Jacques van der Wijen learned, probably, in the case of Gillis, (II) van Coninxloo, who influenced him strongly. Its rich with trees, landscapes animated by elegant figures and companies and riders as extras. Among his main works in the 1630s, established, large-scale landscape in the national Museum in Warsaw. Oil/Lwd, doubl.; 80 cm x 100 cm. Frame. Added by: Expertise Dr. Walter Bernt, 24.03.1961.Oil on canvas, relined. Accompanied by an expert's report by Dr. Walter Bernt (24 March 1961).
