1960er Jahre. Holz, partiell rot gefasst. H. 34,5 x B. 21,5 cm. - Provenienz: Galerie Artica, Cuxhaven; dort vom jetzigen Eigentümer um 1990 erworben - Tschechischer Bildhauer, Maler, Grafiker und Autor, studierte 1952-58 Bildhauerei an der Akademie in Prag, verließ nach dem Scheitern des Prager Frühlings sein Heimatland und floh über Mailand nach Norddeutschland und lehrte über 30 Jahre lang an der Muthesius-Kunsthochschule in Kiel, wo er eine Generation von Bildhauern prägte. Viele seiner monumentalen, archetypischen Arbeiten aus Holz, Metall und Stein befinden sich im Öffentlichen Raum sowie in Museen und privaten Sammlungen weltweit. Koblasa gehört zu den herausragenden Persönlichkeiten der europäischen Kunst der 2. Hälfte des 20. Jh., eine große Werkschau auf der Prager Burg widmete sich 2012 seinem Lebenswerk. Mus.: U.a.
