Der bulgarische Künstler Javacheff Christo ging nach seinem Studium an den Akademien in Sofia und Wien nach Paris und schloss sich dort dem 'Nouveau Réalisme' an. Ab 1958 verpackte er mit seiner Frau, Jeanne-Claude, Objekte. Durch überdimensionale Verpackungssituationen von Gebäuden, Landschaften oder sogar von Luft, wurden sie weltbekannt. Diese Aktionen wurden realisiert und von der Planung, über die Fertigstellung, bis zum Wiederabbau festgehalten und dokumentiert. Das Oeuvre umfasst dabei auch Zeichnungen, Grafiken, Objekte und Fotografien. Den dokumentarischen Charakter finden wir auch in dieser in Plexiglas gefassten Collage. Bestehend aus einer Farblithografie, dem passenden Lageplan der Aktion und der Verpackung durch den umgebundenen Zwirn. Zu sehen sind die Arbeiten des Künstlerduos in internationalen Galerien und Museen. So würdigt der Kunstpalast Düsseldorf aktuell das Schaffen Christos in einer umfassenden Ausstellung.

The Bulgarian artist Javacheff Christo went to Paris after his studies at the academies in Sofia and Vienna and joined the 'Nouveau Réalisme' there. From 1958, he packaged objects with his wife, Jeanne-Claude. Through oversized packaging situations of buildings, landscapes or even air, they became world-famous. These actions were realised, recorded and documented from planning, through completion, to dismantling. The oeuvre also includes drawings, graphics, objects and photographs. The documentary character can also be found in this collage set in Plexiglas. Consisting of a colour lithograph, the matching site plan of the action and the wrapping by the twine tied around it. The works of the artist duo can be seen in international galleries and museums. The Kunstpalast Düsseldorf, for example, is currently honouring Christo's work in a comprehensive exhibition.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
