Irdenware, weißer Scherben. Dekor in hellblauer und weißer Engobe. Wvz. Guédras 317. Variante 4 des 1958 von Cocteau entworfenen und 1958/59 in kleiner Serie in der Keramikwerkstatt Madeline-Jolly (von Philippe Madeline und Marie-Madeleine Jolly) in Villefranche-sur-Mer ausgeführten Anhängers. Dieser zeigt ein für Cocteau motiv- und stiltypisches Bildnis vor einem Meer im Sonnenschein. Rücks. schwarze Pinselsign. "Jean Cocteau" mit Stern. Messing-Kettenaufhängung. H. 10,2 cm.
Cocteau lernte 1957 das Künstlerpaar Marie Madeline Jolly und Philippe Madeline kennen, zu denen er eine enge Freundschaft entwickelte. In ihrer Werkstatt gestaltete er bis 1963 Keramik-Unikate und entwarf mehr als 300, in kleinen Serien hergestellte Keramiken.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
