Als einer der wichtigsten Künstler der Abstraktionsbewegung in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts, bedient sich Jean Degottex (1918-1988) eines künstlerischen Sprachmediums, das über die konventionelle Sprache hinausgeht. Ausgehend von der Zen-Philosophie und der damit verbundenen Anziehungskraft der Zeichen, verfolgt der französische Künstler in seinem einzigartigen Stil und Vokabular Wassily Kandinskys Lehre der Lyrischen Abstraktion.
Durch die großen, quasi kalligrafischen Pinselstriche vor hellblauem Hintergrund erhält auch das vorliegende Werk mit dem Titel "Die schwarze Welle" eine enorme energetische Bewegung und verliert dennoch nicht an Sensibilität für das Zeichen sowie für das Medium selbst. Der Titel, bzw. die Schrift, findet sich transzendiert in der Linie wieder - besonders deutlich wird dies an der strudelartigen Linienführung im linken Bildausschnitt.
Ausgestellt werden Degottexs Werke in zahlreichen öffentlichen Sammlungen, unter anderem dem Centre Pompidou oder dem Guggenheim Museum in New York.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
