Blick auf einen belebten Park mit Reitern, Radfahrern, Spaziergängern und Kutsche, wohl der Bois de Boulogne, im Hintergrund eine umgebende Häuserreihe. Wohl um 1950 geschaffenes Werk Dufys, der wesentlich durch den Fauvismus und Matisse beeinflusst wurde. Jean Dufy war der jüngere Bruder des bekannten Fauvisten Raoul Dufy (1877 - 1953), was ihm in seinem Entschluss bestärkt haben dürfte, sich nach kaufmännischer Ausbildung und Militärdienst der Malerei zuzuwenden. 1912 zog Jean Dufy nach Paris und begegnete dort rasch André Derain, Georges Braque, Pablo Picasso und dem bedeutenden Dichter und Schriftsteller Guillaume Apollinaire. Bereits 1914 präsentierte Dufy erstmals seine Aquarelle in der "Galerie Berthe Weill" in Paris und fand große Anerkennung, 1920-1938 beteiligte sich Jean Dufy an einer Reihe von Ausstellungen in Paris und New York. 1937 führte er zusammen mit seinem Bruder Raoul ein monumentales Deckenfresko für die Weltausstellung aus. Paris war sein bevorzugtes Thema, das ihn zu zahlreichen Ölbildern, Aquarellen und Grafiken inspirierte. In heiterer Bildsprache und in hellem, teilw. leuchtendem Kolorit malte Dufy die belebten Straßen, Plätze, Parks, den Eiffelturm, die Seine, Notre Dame, Montmartre und Sacre Coeur. Aquarell u. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
