Johann Elias Ridinger, hunting and animal representations of three pieces, each of the presentation entitled: "The hunter with a pointing dog", "Anno 1724 have your x-ray: Eberhard Ludwig Herzog zu Würtemberg..." and "How it all Wild in various ways, with reason, Cunning, and violence is alive or dead is caught.", Engravings on paper, laminated, mid-18. Century, foxing, behind glass framed, max. sheet dimension max. approx 30.5 x 28 cm. Artist info: dt. Painter, graphic artist and publisher (1698 Ulm and 1767, Augsburg), pupil of his father Johann Ridinger, from about 1711 pupil of the painter Christoph Resch, in Ulm, from 1713-14 Johann Falch in Augsburg, through the mediation of Gabriel Snitch three years in the service of count Metternich in Regensburg, Germany, from CA. 1718 students of the Augsburg Stadtakademie in the case of Georg Philipp Rugendas the Elder, here, in 1757, appointed to the “Assesor of the Evangelical Ehegerichts” and in 1759 the Director of the city Academy, was by animal and hunt depictions of famous, the main part of his work was the source: Thieme-Becker, Wikipedia, and the Internet.
