MAGNIFICENT SILVER DOUBLE HANDLED GOBLET WITH DEDICATION FOR THE SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY OF COUNT ADOLF HEINRICH VON ARNIM-BOITZENBURG IN 1855.

Date: Ca. 854.
Technique: Silver with gold-plated interior, coloured enamel.
Description: Rising round base on four paw feet with moulded shaft. Serpentine, bell-shaped dome with doubled volute handles. The edges and the lower part set off by acanthus relief and laurel decor.
Below the rim a wide band with oak leaves and cartouches in the centre. On one side the coat of arms of Count Adolf Heinrich von Arnim-Boitzenburg and his wife Anna Caroline, née von der Schulenburg, and on the other the dedication inscription: "In memory of the celebration of the silver wedding of Your Excellency the Royal Privy Minister of State Count von Arnim-Boytzenburg and Her Excellency the Minister of State Countess von Arnim-Boytzenburg, née von der Schulenburg. Arnim-Boytzenburg née Countess v.d. Schulenburg. Wolfsburg 4 August 1855".
