Öl auf Leinwand, rechts unten signiert "Richter pinx.". Brustbildnis im Halbprofil, das de Beauharnais barhäuptig mit schwarzer Halsbinde, dunkler Uniform mit hohem, golden besticktem Stehkragen, goldenen Epauletten und angelegtem Ordensschmuck zeigt (Bruststern und Schärpe zum Großkreuz des Ordens der Ehrenlegion). Darunter, auf goldenem Grund, ein Lorbeerkranz mit Schriftzug "Honneur et Fidélité" vor einem Ehrensäbel à la Mameluke. In hölzernem Profilrahmen (neu vergoldet) mit reliefiertem Palmettendekor. Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Bildmaße 53 x 38 cm, Rahmenmaße 67 x 52 cm.

Oil on canvas, signed "Richter pinx." on the lower right. Half-length portrait in semi-profile depicting de Beauharnais bareheaded with black necktie, dark-coloured uniform with high, gold-embroidered stand-up collar, gold epaulettes and applied order decoration (breast star and sash to the Grand Cross of the Order of the Legion of Honour). Underneath it, on a gold background, a laurel wreath with inscription "Honneur et Fidélité" in front of a sabre of honour à la Mameluke. In a wooden profile frame (newly gilt) decorated with palmettes in relief. Slightly damaged in places, traces of age. Dimensions of painting 53 x 38 cm, dimensions of frame 67 x 52 cm.
