1977. Pastell. 100 x 77 cm. R. u. monogr. und dat. J. G. 77, unter Glas gerahmt, ungeöffnet. Kl. Einriss. - Maler und Graphiker, einer der bedeutendsten figurativen deutschen Künstler der Gegenwart. G. studierte 1957-64 an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin bei H. Orlowski und P. Janssen und nahm 1962 an O. Kokoschkas Sommerakademie in Salzburg teil. 1973 gründete er zusammen mit anderen die der figurativen Malerei verpflichtete Künstlergruppe 'Schule der neuen Prächtigkeit'. In Hamburg war er 1976/77 als Gastdozent an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste tätig sowie 1985-88 als Bühnenbildner am Schauspielhaus. G. war Mitglied der Freien Akademie Hamburg. 1992-2002 hatte er zudem eine Professur in Nürnberg inne. G. wurde unter anderem mit dem Großen Bundesverdienstkreuz und dem Hannah-Höch-Preis ausgezeichnet. Als Portraitist udn Maler figurativer Bilder ist G. ein schonungsloser Realist, dessen z.T. groteske ironische Überzeichnungen als Mittel der Kenntlichmachung dienen. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
