1988. Öl/Hartfaser. 89,5 x 25,5 cm. R. u. sign. und dat. Joh. Heisig 88, verso betitelt. - Deutscher Maler, Sohn des Bernhard Heisig. H. studierte 1973-77 an der Hochschule für Graphik und Buchkunst in Leipzig, anschließend war er bis 1980 Meisterschüler von Gerhard Kettner an der Hochschule der Künste Dresden. Dort wurde er 1988 Professor und bereits 1989 Rektor. Seit 1991 ist H. als freischaffender Künstler in Dresden und Berlin tätig. Er übernahm Lehraufträge im Ausland und war 1993 noch einmal Professor in Dortmund. Sein Interesse an der deutschen Geschichte brachte ihm 2003 den Auftrag ein, ein Portrait Willy Brandts für das German Historical Institute in Washington zu malen. Der Künstler lebt und arbeitet im ländlichen Brandenburg. Mus.: London (Brit. Mus.), Stuttgart (Staatsgal.), Moskau (Puschkin-Mus.) u.a.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
