Jugendstil-Keramikvase mit Bronzemontierung Wohl Steinzeug, hellblaue Laufglasur auf dunkelgrünem Grund. Breite, ovoide Form, diagonale Schulter, weite Öffnung. Montierung mit quadratischem Fuß. An den Ecken vier stilisierte, hochgezogene Streben, die in zwei gebogte Griffe bzw. in durchbrochene Pfauenaugenmotive mit der Glasur entsprechenden Opalglascabochons enden. Undeutl. Pressmarke unter der Glasur; die Montierung mit gravierter Inschrift "Gestiftet von den Einzelfahrern Düsseldorf's (/) Für den besten Blumenschmuck eines Einzelfahrers. (/) XXI. Bundestag D.R. B. (=Deutscher Radfahrer-Bund) 1904". H. 22,7 cm.
1904 fand das Bundesfest des Deutschen Radfahrer-Bundes in Düsseldorf statt. In der Glasur vergleichbare Vasen wurden u. a. von Scharvogel, Hanke und Merkelbach hergestellt.
