Rosendiam. und 35 kleinen Saphiren im Carrée- und Trapezschliff. Unter einer Arkade die betende Madonna, umrankt von Diamanten und Saphiren sowie Blau-Emaille, diese Variante der Plique-a-Jour-Technik wird émail translucid cabochonné genannt, weil die Emaille in eine gewölbte oder cabochonartige Form poliert wird. - Julien Duval (geb. 1856) war ein Pariser Juwelier, der vor allem für seine Art Nouveau Goldschmuckstücke bekannt geworden ist, von denen viele in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Medailleur Frédéric de Vernon seit den 1890ern entstanden sind.
