Auf ausgestelltem Standring balusterförmig aufsteigender Korpus, in eingezogenen, kurzen Hals mit profiliertem Rand übergehend. Seitlich der volutenförmig geschwungene Bandhenkel sowie der an der Schulter ansetzende, spitze Ausguss. Überkragender, haubenförmig gewölbter Deckel mit vergoldetem, stilisierten Pinienknauf. Beidseitig der Wandung und auf dem Deckel in erbsengrünem Fond ausgesparte, braun konturierte Reserven. Auf der Schauseite, vor bergiger Landschaftskulisse mit Blick auf das offene Meer, szenische Darstellung einer auf einem Esel sitzenden Dame in Begleitung eines Herrn unweit eines knorrigen Baumes mit starkem Wurzelwerk. Im linken Hintergrund zwei neben einem Karrenpflug rastende Bauern. Auf der Rückseite sog. Kauffahrteiszene. Am Ufer mit ankernden Segelbooten, zwischen in Fässern gelagerten Handelsgütern und geschnürten Warenballen, stehende Kaufleute im Gespräch. Im Wechsel mit farbenprächtigem Indianischen Blumendekor aus blühenden Chrysanthemen- und Päonienzweigen im Kakiemonstil in Eisenrot, Purpur, Seegrün und wenig Emailblau. Korrespondierend auf dem Deckel teilw. von imposanter, kastellartiger Architektur bestandene Hafenszenerien bzw. auf Henkel und Ausguss feine Indianischen Blütenzweige. Feine polychrome Malerei. Dreher- und Formerzeichen für Johann Daniel Rehschuh (tätig um ca. 1723 - 1749). Minim. rest.; Schwertermarke. Meissen. Um 1735. H. 22 cm.
Im Auftrag von August dem Starken experimentierte Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt ab 1726 mit verschiedenen Fondfarben für Porzellane nach ostasiatischem Vorbild. Im Inventar des Japanischen Palais wurden 1727 bereits sechs Farben verzeichnet. Das Grün, welches in verschiedenen Nuancen von Oliv-, Stahl- bis Apfelgrün auftritt, gehört zu den seltenen Fondfarben auf Meissener Porzellan. Zu der Gestaltung mit Reserven kam um 1734 auch die Dekoration mit bunten Blumen und Figuren auf farbigen Fonds dazu, wobei die Umrisse auf Porzellan vorgezeichnet und beim Auftragen des Fonds ausgespart wurden.

A splendid porcelain coffee jug with rare pea-green ground, finely painted with Kauffahrtei scenes and landscape in quatroil cartouches as well as colourful Indian flower decor. Former's mark for J. D. Rehschuh. Minor restored. Crossed swords mark.

Choose a lot from the upcoming auction and the maximum amount you want to place on it. After confirmation of your choice, we will send your application by e-mail to the appropriate auction house. If the auction house accepts a request, it will participate in the auction. You can view the current status of a bid at any time in your personal account in the "Bids" section.
Auctions are performed by auction houses and each of the auction houses describes their terms of auction. You can see the texts in the section "Auction information".
The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
