Villeroy & Boch, 1991. Limitierte Edition, num. Ex. '19/500'. Porzellan. 16-teilig: Kaffeekanne (H. 22 cm), 6 Kaffeetassen mit Untertasse, 6 Teller, Sahnegießer, Zuckerdose, runde Platte (Diameter 33 cm). Bodenstempel. Mit Zertifikat und Originalverpackung. - Amerikanischer Künstler, dessen Werke stark von der Graffiti-Kunst beeinflußt sind. H. begann 1976 eine Ausbildung als Werbegraphiker, zog aber bereits 1978 nach New York, wo er mit seinen aus Strichmännchen entwickelten Figuren auf Wänden und Plakaten schnell Aufmerksamkeit erregte. Sehr bald folgten erste Einzelausstellungen und Beteiligungen an bedeutenden Gruppenausstellungen, darunter 1982 auf der Documenta 7 und auf der Whitney Biennale. Ab 1985 begann er neben Wänden auch Leinwände zu bemalen. Seine ikonischen, aufs Wesentliche reduzierte Figuren sicherten ihm bald weltweite und bis heute ungebrochene Popularität. Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
