Anton Vincent Lebeda, Prag, 1797 - 1857, seit 1852 Hofbüchsenmacher. Seine letzte Arbeit, zwölf Doppelbüchsen, sechs Doppelgewehre und drei Bockbüchsen, fertigte er für Kaiser Franz Josef I.

Provenienz: Dorotheum, Wien, Auktion am 26. - 28. November 1925, "Doubletten der ehem. Öst. Hof-Gewehrkammer", Nr. 112 (Kopie beiliegend).Dazu Kopie der Originalrechnung für zwei Doppel-Kugelstutzen für S. M. Kaiser Franz Josef I. zu 180 Gulden pro Stück. Ausführlich publiziert wurde das Stück im DWJ, 8/2008, Seite 82-86 (Kopie anbei).
Emperor Franz Josef I - a cut and gold-inlaid deluxe percussion side-by-side rifle, Anton Vincent Lebeda, Prague, circa 1850
Cal. 16(BlackPowder), SN. 3547, eight-groove rifled side-by-side bores in 16 mm calibre of fine rose Damascus steel with patent breechblock. On the barrel bar dovetailed front sight, double folding rear sight and cut, gilt signature "Ant: Vinc. Lebeda." amidst ornamental tendrils. The vent holes lined with platinum, on the cut and gilt breechblock monogram "FJ" underneath an imperial crown. Elaborately cut and gold-inlaid percussion locks with folding cock buffers and signature "Lebeda - In Prag". Single set triggers. Beautifully carved half stocks of walnut wood with cut, iron fold-out compartment and butt cap. The trigger guard of horn with inlaid silver plate numbered "9", behind it weapon number "3547" on the stock. Original wooden ramrod with tip and threaded socket of brass. Length 105 cm.
Anton Vincent Lebeda, Prague, 1797 - 1857, since 1852 gunsmith to the court. His last commission comprising the manufacture of twelve double rifles, six double shotguns and three over-and-under rifles was for Austrian Emperor Franz Josef I.

"Duplicates from the former Austrian Imperial Armoury", no. 112 (photocopy enclosed).Comes with a photocopy of the original invoice for two double-barrelled carbines for His Majesty Emperor Franz Josef I at 180 guilders per piece. A detailed description of the carbine was published in the German shooting sports journal DWJ, 8/2008, pages 82 - 86 (photocopy enclosed).

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
