Große, fein geschnittene Matrix aus Neusilber. Im Mittelfeld gekrönter Doppeladler mit dem Habsburg-Lothringischen Mittelschild und Kollanen vom Orden der Eisernen Krone, des St. Stephanordens und des Goldenen Vlieses sowie dem Maria-Theresienorden, umgeben von elf Wappen der Kronländer. Die umlaufende Randinschrift lautet: "FRANCISCUS JOSEPHUS I. D. G. AUST. IMP. HUNG. & BOH. DAL. CRO. SLAV. GAL. LOD: & ILL. REX A. A. DUX LOTH. SAL. STYB. M. P. TRANS. M. MOR. COM. HABS. TYR.". Basis mit gravierter Herstellerangabe "J. RADNITZKY K.K. HOF-GRAVEUR". Durchmesser 83 mm.
Provenienz: Britische Matrixsammlung David Morris. Davor im Nachlass des Zoltan von Barcsay-Amant, einem Vertrauten des ungarischen Reichsverwesers Horty. 1992 bei Dorotheum versteigert.

Large, delicately chiselled, nickel-silver matrix. A crowned double-headed eagle in the centre field bearing the Habsburg-Lorraine escutcheon and collars of the Order of the Iron Crown, the Orders of Saint Stephen, the Golden Fleece and the Military Order of Maria Theresa, surrounded by eleven coats of arms of the Crown Lands. The inscription around the edge reads: "FRANCISCUS JOSEPHUS I. D. G. AUST. IMP. HUNG. & BOH. DAL. CRO. SLAV. GAL. LOD: & ILL. REX A. A. DUX LOTH. SAL. STYB. M. P. TRANS. M. MOR. COM. HABS. TYR.". The base engraved with the manufacturer "J. RADNITZKY K.K. HOF-GRAVEUR". Diameter 83 mm.
Provenance: British matrix collection David Morris. Previously in the estate of Zoltan of Barcsay-Amant, trusted advisor of Hungarian imperial administrator Horty. Auctioned at Dorotheum in 1992.
